This wall-mounted tide indicator combines functionality with nautical style in a bright and elegant design. Its round chrome-plated metal frame has a polished finish reminiscent of traditional navigation instruments, adding a refined touch to the overall look.
The white dial stands out for its rich nautical detailing. It clearly indicates the different stages of the tidal cycle: rising tide, high tide, falling tide and low tide. Around the central area, several colourful nautical flags decorate the dial, together with hour markers, directional arrows and half-tide indications. Small marine motifs complete the design and reinforce its nautical character.
A tide clock provides an approximate indication of the tidal cycle: rising tide, high tide, falling tide and low tide. Its mechanism is based on the lunar cycle and completes one full rotation in approximately 12 hours and 25 minutes, which corresponds to the average interval between two successive high tides.
To set it correctly, check the exact time of high tide for the area where the clock will be used. At that time, position the hand on “High Tide”. The mechanism will then automatically follow the tidal cycle.
It is important to set the clock using the tide times for the specific location, as these vary from one coastline to another. The clock provides an approximate indication and should not be used as a substitute for official tide tables for navigation.
